Labstrack Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 12, 2026

Labstrack is a personal health diary for tracking lab results. It is built to be private by design. This policy explains exactly what happens to your data.

What we collect

Nothing. Labstrack has no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no servers of ours. We never see your lab results, your documents, or anything about you.

Where your data lives

Your lab results are stored on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, your results sync through your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit, encrypted in transit and at rest, accessible only to you. We have no access to your iCloud data.

Document scanning

By default, lab reports are read entirely on your device using Apple's text-recognition technology — and, on devices with Apple Intelligence, Apple's on-device language model. No images or text leave your phone.

Optionally, you can enable AI parsing with your own API key (Anthropic Claude or Google Gemini). If you turn this on, the report images you choose to scan are sent to that provider over an encrypted connection, solely to extract the test results, under your own account and that provider's privacy terms. This is off by default and requires your explicit consent in Settings. Your profile age and biological sex, if you provide them, may be included in those requests solely to select the correct reference range.

Your profile

Biological sex and birth date are optional, stored on device (and in your personal iCloud), and used only to choose the correct reference range when a lab lists several.

Advertising

Labstrack contains no advertising and no third-party ad or analytics SDKs. Your health data is never used for advertising of any kind.

Data deletion

You can delete any result, or all of your data, at any time from Settings. Deleting the app removes its local data; data synced to your iCloud can be removed via Settings → Delete all results before uninstalling, or through iCloud settings.

Not medical advice

Labstrack is for tracking and organization only. It does not provide medical advice or diagnosis. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional.
